Speak Now (Taylor's Version) was Taylor's third re-recorded album and was released in July of 2023. The original Speak Now was Taylor's third album she released and it came out in 2010. While the album wasn't as popular as Fearless. Speak Now is arguably slightly less country than her first few albums, and this could have contributed to the album being less popular.

Speak Now (Taylor's Version) isn't one of my favorite albums. There are a couple of songs that I really enjoy, but overall it's one of my least favorites. That's controversial because a lot of Taylor Swift fans have Speak Now in their top three albums, if not at their number one. I just wasn't the biggest fan of it as a kid and I still feel that way when I listened to the re-release. When I listened to the album growing up my favorite songs were "Mean" and "Mine." After listening to the re-record my favorite songs are "Back to December," "Dear John," and "Haunted." There was a rumor about who "Dear John" was about, but in my opinion it's more of a fact than a rumor. People believe the song is about Taylor's ex boyfriend John Mayer. When they dated Taylor was nineteen and John Mayer was thirty-two. Their breakup was not a good one and the song is clearly about him, but John Mayer didn't like it and caused a hissy fit. There is also a rumor that "Back to December" is about Taylor's ex boyfriend Taylor Lautner, except this song was about how Taylor Swift was the problem in the relationship. When Taylor re-released the album she actually made a music video with Taylor Lautner because they are on great terms. That duo nearly broke the internet because of the way that fans reacted. Although I'm not the biggest fan of Speak Now (Taylor's Version), I thought that the release was really fun and the music video was great.
