Taylor vs. Kanye

The Taylor Swift and Kanye West drama has been talked about for years. The drama started years ago in 2009, when Kanye interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech after she won best female video. Kanye grabbed the microphone and said to the crowd that Beyonce deserved to win because she had the best video of the year. Later in the night, Beyonce took home the award for video of the year...

Shortly after, Kanye West apologized publicly and privately and Taylor accepted it. The incident was talked about in the media here and there, but overall the drama seemed to have passed. Considering Taylor was only 19 when Kanye interrupted her at the VMAs, it impacted her a lot more than it did to him. Although in 2015 they were seen photographed together smiling and friendly again. In 2016, the feud started all over again after Kanye West released the song "Famous". The song included the line "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous." This rubbed Taylor the wrong way and the drama started again. Taylor said that she did not approve of the song lyric and that it was misogynistic. Kanye's wife at the time, Kim Kardashian, added something to the mix after posting that Taylor did actually know about the lyric and even posted a video of the call between Taylor and Kanye. Kim and Kanye said that Taylor was playing the victim, but instead of trying to walk away from the drama, Kanye released a music video that had Taylor Swift's head photoshopped on a naked body next to him in bed. Taylor responded saying that she knew about the sex line, but she did not approve of the line where he calls her a bitch. The way Kanye and Kim went about it all made most of the world hate and turn against Taylor. Taylor was bullied for several years because of what Kanye did to her. Personally, his old music is great and I enjoy listening to it, but what he did was awful. Now, years later, Kanye West is known for being anti semitic, which is so incredibly awful. Taylor is on her record breaking Eras Tour, and re-releasing her old albums.
